Dear Gurrus
Please confirm to me that SAP means from this term Powered By HANA ?
Is that means SAP Database is ready to migrate on HANA Database ?
Actually we just upgrade our BW system to NW7.4 and ready for next level Migration .what additional benefits we get after Migration BW to HANA
regards
Muhammad,
powered by HANA means that the application, either a SAP application or from a partner, like a start-up company, or a custom application, is running on the SAP HANA database.
Whenever the term powered by SAP HANA is used, the underlying database is SAP HANA.
thank you

Hi Arshad,
Powered by HANA means that the standard code has been migrated/upgraded to a level where it can perform optimally when HANA is brought in as a DB. After an upgrade of any older SAP release to new one, SAP says that now the new release, which you have upgraded in your landscape can work smoothly with HANA. Next tasks with you is to migrate the DB to HANA.
PFA attached benefits for BW on HANA Migration: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-58173
Thanks Much,
Abhishek
