Hi, i'm new using SAP Hana, it's my first contact with it...
I've a 30 days trial license, of SAP Hana, and I'm starting to look it... everything is working fine but now I'm trying to do some tests extracting data from a SQL Server database using the SQL Server Integration Services and load it into SAP Hana... following the post: http://www.bibabos.com/sap/etl-processes-ms-ssis-sap-hana/
The problem is that I'm not able to create the ODBC connection :S
what I did:
Note: My laptop is running Windows 7.
1º) install locally on my laptop the SAP Hana client tools, (both 32bits and 64 bits);
2º) Find the IP address of my SAP Hana Server...
3º) mapping the IP address to the name hanacloud... in the host file.
4º) try to create the ODBC connetion:
Server:Port > hancloud:30015
User: SYSTEM
password: manager
all the time I get:
"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" .. see attached file.
Once I'm using a trial version to my POC, all fast answers will be very appreciated...
Many Thanks, Luis
Hi Luis,

Erkin Y
