Use Dashboard in the SAP BW on Hana

Good morning,

I got error #2032 when creating BEx connection via data manager in Dashboard Designer.

As, I read from SAP Basis Experts On Demand - Dashboard Designer - Error 2032 - BW Connection I was fortunate enough...

Two of the possible reasons for this are availability of bicsremote web service in Java Stack and The BEx Setup between java and abap stack.

As for the availability of bicsremote web service, I got reference from https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1408384 to check it from wsnavigator, but the problem is I can't launch wsnavigator, I don't know what happen though.

And for the BEx Setup between Java and ABAP Stack, I can't find J2EE in my BW, could you tell me how to install J2EE in BW?

Or could you share me another way how to solve this issue?

Hi Hendra,

if you are running BW on HANA, you must have separate Appservers, no Dual Stack System, however, you can run BW ABAP and BI JAVA stacks on same HANA DB but in separate Schemas.

First check with your basis guys if at all NW JAVA Server is installed and BI_JAVA usage type was configured,
